Micropollutants and PFAS

In light of the risks posed by micropollutants and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to drinking water quality, local authorities will be subject to new regulatory requirements for monitoring and treatment as of January 2026.

To support compliance with these upcoming regulations and help you assess your exposure, Saur offers end-to-end assistance in deploying targeted detection campaigns.

Why contact us ?

Unsure whether your municipality is affected by micropollutant or PFAS contamination?

The first step is to conduct the necessary analyses to determine your situation.

While the inclusion of these new parameters in water testing will only become mandatory in January 2026, early action is strongly recommended.

Implementing new treatment solutions can take time, depending on the type and concentration of micropollutants or PFAS detected.

In cases of non-compliance, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) may impose corrective measures. In some instances, this could even lead to the shutdown of affected water intakes.
